Affiliate Marketing... without a Website

Beginning today, you'll be introduced to the world of affiliate marketing & improved internet marketing methods... step-by-step!

I'll try to keep these posts as short & focused as possible... which leads me to the first topic... affiliate marketing without a website (which numerous people have asked about since last Friday's call).

1. Start a blog... with "keyword-rich" search terms in your blog's URL address, in your blog title, in your blog headers, and throughout your blog posts.

* Notice what I've chosen myself:
http://www.affiliateworkshop.blogspot.com/ as my blog's URL address (aka website address), "Affiliate Success Workshop" as my title of my blog, "Affiliate Marketing... without a Website" as today's topic, and some underlined, bolded and linked keywords being sprinkled throughout today's blog entry.

All of these define what I refer to as search engine candy... because Google, Yahoo, MSN & other popular search engines love to see search terms that people are frequently looking for within your websites, blogs, forums, articles, newsletters, etc. AND really love to see them underlined, bolded, linked or any combination of those three methods.

** Note - Popular search terms don't always equate to instant success either. It requires utilizing a blend of popularity, reduced competition, and your persistence. The first 2 parts are easy to find, but the last part is completely up to you as an individual.

***
http://www.blogger.com/ is a free tool (owned by Google) that allows you to set up a blog in less than 30 seconds... which is what I've used here... and yes it's really easy!

2. Many beginning affiliate marketers are also using social networkng sites, web 2.0 sites (video sites) like YouTube, old-school chat rooms, and forum boards... places where there's regular human interaction... allowing them to interact with members & share links to affiliate programs they're recommending.

3. Article marketing is one of my favorite ways to promote affiliate programs. I don't have to chat with other members in a forum community over & over again. I simply write 1 article at a time, sit back & watch other sites "grab" my article to post it on their sites; in their newspapers, magazines, ezines, newsletters, blogs, emails, etc.; or even read my articles to their listeners.

The best part is... they must always include my
"bio" (about me info) & if the article is posted in a written format (which it is 99.9% of the time)... the readers also might click on some of the "keyword-rich" popular search terms I've hyperlinked to affiliate programs, free offers or squeeze pages I'm associated with.

* B-I-N-G-O! This spells affiliate success!

Again... there are numerous FREE methods you can use to promote affiliate marketing programs... which I've only begun to skim the surface of.

That's all I've got for today, and I can't wait to hear back from each of you... with any suggestions, ideas, comments, topics you' like me to cover, or any burning questions you need answered.

PS - And, don't worry... I'll be hosting a LIVE webinar about http://www.blogger.com/ for anyone that wants to learn more about this free tool & others like it.
